PDCC Reservoir and Power Steering Reservoir

I believe Porsche recommends to change the PDCC reservoir every 48k miles or 6 years. Does anyone know if you need to do the same for the power steering reservoir? If not I wonder what is the difference between having to do the PDCC reservoir changed vs the power steering?

Briefly, the PDCC reservoir has a built-in filter, the Powersteering reservoir not. This should be the reason.

Are you sure about that? From what I see the part numbers are the same for both the PDCC and Steering reservoir.

This was the case on the first series PDCC, each time there was being worked on the hydraulic part of the PDCC system, the reservoir had to be replaced, periodically as well. This was a precoutionary measure to protect the (cranky)pressurepump against contamination, incidentally air bubbles in the system are also fatal. It might have changed in the meantime.
