Sunroof weatherstripping came off

Recommended Posts

On my way home this evening I opened the sunroof, after a minute or so I noticed a black rubber piece on my rear window. I slowed down to stop and retrieve it. The piece is about 30" long my only guess is it's from the sunroof. It's made of rubber and looks like it has a channel to fit over a lip.

I'll try to post a pic, in the meantime anyone know where it goes?

I think it fits on the bottom rear edge of the sunroof, easiley accessible with the sunroof in tilted position, refit with some glue.

Experienced the same Jamie, though on the Autobahn at significant speed, why I had the sun roof open I do not know. It fell partly off and slammed my roof, not a sound you'd like driving fast, thump thump thump thump. Amazing it did not fall completely off, just reattached it, no clue, has stayed on since.
