Rotary Switch to Manually Turn on the Cooling Fans Porsche 996/986     So the rotary switch has a fan symbol that lights up the same colour as the rest of the buttons in the car when the headlights are turned on. To turn on the low speed fans, rotate the dial up and the symbol lights up blue.
