How to install a bose subwoofer on Porsche 997 PCM3 with ASK

Recommended Posts

Goodnight all,

I am David owner of a porsche 997 carrera PDK with PCM3 and ASK audio. I read on this forum that Gavins had installed this box on the PCM / ASK, but this publication dates from 2010 and I can not contact him for more information, so I turn to you to try to advance on the subject.

I just bought a bose subwoofer which I would like to connect to my PCM3/ASK.
I was thinking of buying a high level amplifier with automatic remote.
But at what level to connect it?

- recover the -/+ signal from the door boomers at the output of the ASK amplifier? or at the input of the ASK amplifier?
- Can we also recover the REMOTE signal arriving on the ASK to divert to the new sub amplifier?
- For the + battery, can we recover that of the ASK or remove a line from the battery?

Thanks for your help
