2015 911S Cabriolet

Had a rear camera mounted by respected higher end audio shop.  Had a couple issues with Apple car play not jiving with the PCM.  Rear bumper had to come off a couple times.  Spoiler acted a bit “off” for a day after one pickup, but seemed fine later.  No lights or warnings.

I just noticed the spoiler on the right side is not flush when retracted.  Called audioshop and they said bring it in Monday.  I was driving by the local Porsche dealership and a tech took a 5 min look at it and said new spoiler drive motor.  What?  The spoiler Extends and retracts fully,  just not flush on one side.  He Didn’t remove any panels or bumper to look at it.

Before I go fight the battle with the audio place, assuming they are going to say it wasn’t their fault, any ideas for this.  Replacing a drive motor for 5k is causing angst.  The dealership in my area deals with clientele that probably would say fine, whatever.

The audio shop has been fine to date and am hoping I can give them some info to get things lined up correctly.

thanks!
