98 Boxster 2.5 - ABS/TC lights only in morning

Recommended Posts

Hi, I had a really old thread on this but can't find it, sorry.

I have an older Boxster with TC instead of PSM, in the morning when I first go to the car the ABS and TC lights are on, If I drive the car for 5-10 minutes then restart it they will go off and both systems work perfectly fine then. It's been like this for a year or so now. ABS sensors give the same resistance on a multimeter, brake lights don't seem to have any intermittence. I might just change the brake switch anyway just to write it off the list. Cleaned MAF and Throttle Body. It's had two different batteries, one may have made it go off slower than the other but not sure if I just got it on a good day, some days it seems to take a bit longer before a restart turns it off. I had a friend with a good code reader, I think maybe it was snap on, plug it in and I got no codes for it so I am sort of lost now.

Any Ideas?

Thanks for any replies
