Moving Climate Control - need part numbers

Recommended Posts

I am installing the new Eclipse AVN5435 Double DIN Navigation unit into my 2000 996. I need to move my climate control unit down to the bottom portion of the dash so as to open up the space for the deck.

I want it to relocate the climate controls in the upper of the two slots down below. (where the CD storage is now), and keep the storage tray in the lower opening.

Does anyone know the part numbers for the trim ring required for the climate control if going into the top slot? (its square)

Thanks. My local dealer gave me the trim ring for the lower slot, which is slightly rounded at the bottom. I dont like the climate control that low as its seated behind the shifter and kind of a pain to get to. Also, if I can't move it up, I will lose the storage tray which I use for my cell phone/wallet. Dealer couldn't find the part, but I have seen pictures of the climate controlls in this position.

HELP :) Thanks all.
