I really like the dual exhaust tip look and i am looking to modify my stock 01 2.7 muffler. I know i can replace my stock 2.7 muffler with the 3.2 S muffler or, Is it possible if i can just have a good muffler shop cut and weld new dual tips on my stock muffler? I know the stock muffler has the same internals vs. the S muffler....BTW, im new to the site and i find a lot of interesting, helpful ideas here....Thanks!

Your cheapest option will be to wait for a used S exhaust to come up on eBay, PPBB classifieds, etc. and install it yourself. It should only take a couple of hours. Used S exhausts should go very cheaply. Heck, I've got one sitting in my garage...
