I have some oil filters sitting on my shelf. Since last May, I've been through a '99 996 C2 and a '96 993 TT. Now I have an '04 996 GT3.

The ones listed in the 996 DIY oil change are 996 107 225 52 (I have these) or 996 107 225 53. What is the p/n for the GT3's oil filter, please?

Found the info at the DIY page on the GT3. It is 996 107 225 52.

At one of our work on cars days we had a 52 and 53 filter. I compared them and did not see a difference. 52 is still a good part number. 53 is just the latest version.

The GT3 uses either one, just like the Boxster, 996, turbo, and Cayenne.
