Don: got a question for you

Peter, sorry for the delay....was out enjoying the "warmth of Naples." Yes, I can give you some advice. I have a fairly complete explanation from my installer on my hard drive back at the Cape.

I think you have 2 options as far as the bumper cover itself. I believe an aftermarket company has a fiberglass rear bumper cover that is a good fit, after some sanding, etc.

I chose to go with a factory poly TT rear bumperbecause it's poly and it's "factory". Yes, it does fit the narrowbody and there are some pics of it on my gallery.. www.986host.com/gallery/doncapecod. They're on the last few pages.

I got my factory TT bumper from Gert at www.carnewal.com As I said it does fit well on the narrowbody with some "fiddling" with the cover. (check the pics)

You will also need the TT heat shield because of the different shape; new exhaust tips to fit the differently shaped exhaust cutouts...and lastly you'll need to modify the exhaust pipe from the muffler because the TT exhaust cutouts are almost 9" closer together than on the C2/C4. My installer fabricated his own, but I believe Techart or Gemballa sell the conversion pipe. I'll know definitely when I get back...I just don't remember which one.

Then there are a couple of braces that are a bit different. I'll have that info as well.

Hopes this helps for now.

BTW, after that you should consider the TT front bumper as well :)
