Rattling in Convertible Top

I recently ordered the new one piece centering pegs that replace the older style pegs that are referred to in TSB 6110. These pegs are thicker and they don't appear to fit into the mounts (female end) on the top of the windshield frame.

I haven't tried to change these yet but it doesn't seem like it will work. Has anyone replaced these centering pegs which are supposed to help with top rattles?

There are no instructions or diagrams in TSB 6110 but it does refer to Tech Manual Group 6> repairs 61-99 Replacing convertible top frame.

Loren, have there been posts on this? I can't seems to find them.
