Stolen user's manual pouch and stuff

Recommended Posts

My Boxstered was burgled yesterday. The thief took my PDA, a garage door opener, a digital camera and the Boxster User Manuals!!

Naturally my anger cannot be adequately expressed in socially acceptable phrases.

The immediate problem is that I took out the factory radio last week, now I don't have the security code to restore it. Is there a way to get this from Porsche or Becker or is it a lost cause?

Also, the stolen maintenance manuals would mean the car would be harder to sell in the future... I can't imagine it being any good to the person who took it, unless he also drives a Boxster - unlikely given the demography of Boxster owners. This really pisses me off. Just need to vent.

I will keep an eye out. If anyone sees Boxster manuals for sale from anywhere in Australia on Ebay or something, please alert me - could be the thief trying to sell.

you should be able to obtain the code from your dealer.

i recently purchased a 2002 s without manuals or codes. i had it serviced and the shop was able to obtain the radio code.

manuals are sold on ebay on a regular basis.
