987 Hard Top Problems - - continues....

Recommended Posts

Well its that time of year where my hard top comes off, BUT all I have had all through winter is major wind noise etc from both sides of the car.

Car is going back in for the 5th!!!! time and I have now TOLD porsche Head office to pull there fingers out and send a technician out to sort it.

I can not get over it, it a 2K roof which makes the car sound like your in a wind tunnel when you hit 50+ mph.

All window seals have been changed, (on a brand new car that only 7 months old) and guess what, still no fix, well F*%k me, I keep on telling my OPC that its not the rubbers on the windows etc, its the actual roof, the glass does not go so far in compared to the "soft top" when its closed.

So, I think i'm going to give them the last shot at it now, my local dealer are really nice guys, no probs with them but its this sh*te roof thats got a Porsche name to it, makes me really Pi%%ed off becasue you pay through your nose and get crap, I think Porsche need to sort there stuff out quick! I've had softtop BMW's, VW's etc all with hard tops and they are superb!......

Car is back in this Friday, for the roof and all the recalls. :(
