Instrument Cluster Connector

I did the four-stalk OBC install over the weekend; it was flawless except for one small problem. When I re-attached the grey connector to the cluster the plastic lock tab broke off. I could not see a part number on the connector... it is a simple sleeve type of device with a rotating black cam. Here's a picture... I would need the grey connector on the left.....

Did you get this rectified? I have that part on its way to me in the mail, it was tricky to track down. Once I confirm that it is indeed the correct part I can get you the part number and ordering details if you still need them.

Hi Chris....

Well, actually no. I tried to order the part from a local dealer, but "Porsche's parts system" refused to place the request (BTW, I did take another peek at the item with magnifying glass... part # 999.650.509.40 -"plug casing", right?). I then appealed to PCNA to see if they could help me order the item .... complete waste of time as they just kicked me back to the dealer!

I am very, very interested in your source for this small item..... could you pass your contact's name my way?

thanks !
