Can I unmount the sliders from a Sport Seat ?

Hi,

I want to put some OMP seat using Brey Kraus side bracket in my 996TT. The car does not have electric sliders. I was wondering is I can unmount the sliders from the sport seats without making it un-reversible. I need them but don't want to buy a new pair at the stealer so I can mount the Brey Kraus sliders on them.

You can unmount them, but it looks like a PITA. I would buy a set of third party sliders for the race seat. Sparco sells an inexpensive set. You would need different B-K side-mounts to mount the seat to the Sparco sliders. The good news is that you will then be able to do a simple 4-bolt seat swap.
