New fuel pumps installed, hard start, stalling, lots problems

Recommended Posts

Hi, this is very stressed me out, here is a long story; 1 month ago that my 04 CTT's driver side fuel pump went out, thanks this forum that i searched and pulled the fuse to force run on the passenger pump to drove couple days, it was running fine and i didnt drive hard, car was totally normal. the nightmare comes after the new fuel pumps came in, i changed both but now sometimes it gets so hard to start, have to crank for 20-30 seconds even it finally starts it will stall in 1 second that i have to press on gas to make it alive(never happen during cold start in the morning, only happens after i drove it and parked for like 10-30 minutes, drove on the freeway, if i try to pass or accelerate the fuel will cut off and engine turned off, i had to put in neutral to move the car on the shoulder and start it again to drive away which is very dangerous. i installed the old fuel pumps back and pulled the left pump fuse, same thing! which didnt happen when my old driver pump went bad.

Whats the magic here? i assumed that i connected a fuel line wrong between the pumps? but the car drives fine most of the times, someone please help, thank you!
