  1. I have a dumb question  , how often should the air filter be replaced? I'm in San Diego, and although I didn't drive much during the recent fires, I'm wondering if I should just pony up and change the filter out as a precaution due to all the ashe in the air? Thanks.
  2. 69K on a 2001 C2. No issues, only had the car for 3 months though and it's up for sale. Now looking for a 2002 or 2003 TT.
  3. Chris, it looks like you may have local prospect. If that doesn't turn out, just pay for shipping costs and they're yours. Alain
  4. I just upgraded my 2001 C2 to Fabspeed Maxflos so I have some available. I didn't look to see where you're located but I'm in San Diego. Alain
  5. Porschefan, I have a pair of Yokohama Advans 295/23 18R with around 150 miles on them for sale. They came off a set of Carrera III wheels and were a little too wide for my C2 so I downsized to 275/35. I paid $650 for the replacements at Discount Tire. You can have these for $300 for the pair. I'm in San Diego and I noticed you're in SoCal. Moderators, please delete this message if I'm breaking any kind of rules. Thanks! Here are some pics.
  6. Please let the paranoia begin ... :D I hate how I seem to notice *all* of the noises and wish that I could go back to being blissfully ignorant. I've got 120k+ miles on mine and don't notice that sound or any lugging. Are you sure that you aren't lugging the engine by not giving her enough gas and clutch slip at start? Is this problem occuring in all gears or just in First? I think we need more information to offer more potential causes. I won't deny that I'm likely being paranoid. I just took the car for a spin and since it's fairly quiet out, I did notice it going from 2nd to 3rd as well (almost a dieseling sound). Performs great 3rd through 6th.
  7. I'd be interesting in knowing as well. My 2001 C2 with 67k miles makes the same sound. Unfortunately I've only had the car for about a month and I didn't notice the noise up until now.
