Instrument Cluster off when cold temps

I have a 2005 Boxster that is garage kept.  On mornings when there outdoor temps have fallen below freezing, the instrument cluster is not fully functional, giving false warnings about brakes,,  etc. at times totally off. Garage is about 54 F.   However after warming up the cabin for like 5 mins, everything on the cluster is working just fine; one instrument coming on at a time, others flickering before all is on..  Even when the cluster is totally off, the car runs fine all the time.  It is almost like there is a loose connection on the Instrument cluster that contraction due to the cold caused it to turn off.  Never have this problem when over night temps are above freezing.

 

Appreciate any suggestions.
