Fuel additives/ injector cleaners , "Lucas" & Techron , good or bad ?

For years I have been using "Lucas" brand upper cylinder lubricant / fuel injector cleaner in all my cars, as well as Chevron "Techron" Injector cleaner every few fillups. Is there anything wrong with keeping this up for my new 911 ?, or for ANY 911  ❓  I have  two a 2002 & a 2017  "911"  . Thanks for any advice on this topic ? ? Britdave

Never used an "upper cylinder lubricant", as I have no idea what it is supposed to do, but we use and recommend Techron at least once a year, preferably just before you change oil as it can result in crap showing up in the oil.  To my knowledge, Techron is the only fuel system cleaner Porsche ever recommended as well.

Just use a quality gasoline like Shell or Chevron.  Both have lubricity and cleaners.  Chevron at the pump already has Techron in it (and subsidiary Texaco).  See the website TopTier.com for fuels that meet high additive standards.
