  1. Can anyone help with a code for a 1999 Carrera Radio Model No: R 3297 Serial No: W5024690
  2. Thanks for the tip. After moving the tool back and forth from the "out" and "in" position, the headlight assembly finally crawled it's way out.
  3. I have the Litronic headlight assembly. I am trying to replace the Xenon bulbs as they have become noticeably less bright. The passenger side assembly slides out easy after following the instructions in the manual. The drivers side assembly is another story. I can hear the audible pop when I turn the tool and the assembly moves out about half an inch, but in spite of pulling in all directions will not move any further. Any ideas on what is holding it in place and how I can get it out without snapping some of the lens covering by yanking on it?
  4. Thanks. I did not have the reddish color on the filter I expect to see on a K&N, but I have no idea on how long it has been since it was cleaned, so it makes sense that all of the oil has since disappeared. Thanks for the help.
  5. My mother-in-law has a 1999 996 that she has never driven much and has not driven at all in 7 months (44,290 odometer). A few weeks ago finally she finally decides that it needs to be driven, and because she "doesn't have the time to fool with it" I have become it's foster parent. I wanted to do some routine maintenance i.e. change the oil, new battery, air filter, etc. When I went to change the intake filter it is obvious that she does not have the factory intake. Has anyone seen an intake like this one? Or know who makes it so that I can order the correct filter? Any help is greatly appreciated.
