  1. So I just did the recheck of numbers Type 4462 Ser:X5033455 CDP2081 thank you
  2. Please READ the Lost Radio Code FAQ -- and follow the instruction to get your serial number and include the model of your radio here. Thank you for the response, I have read the provided link, that is how I ended up on this thread instead of the numerous other threads here on this board. However, maybe I am not calling the numbers I get what they are on the FAQ As above, I got the DCP2081, then came up SN#X5033455, I turned it again and came up the 48/98. So, since I am at work, when I get home, I will perform the procedure again to see if these numbers still come up as the same information. If indeed, I did it right and you can help with this, I'd appreciate it. If I screwed it up AGAIN, then I will try one more time. If that doesn't work perhaps I'll just wear headphones all the time. Thank you.
  3. Greetings, a code card didn't come with my car when I bought it and since I replaced the battery recently I can't get the code from anywhere else. Dealers want $250 to "take out the radio and get the SN, then call Germany" Well, I knew there had to be other options. Here is my information, if someone could help me out that would be very much appreciated. my SN should be X5033455 .. If this isn't the correct one then I really don't know what else to do. I've followed all of the directions listed in previous posts to this thread. I also got this number CDP2081 as well as 48/98, But I don't really know what those are. Again, thank you very much for the help. Cheers! Thom
