Julian T posted a topic in 996 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa)One of the cats on my 3.4 is on the way out apparently. Has anyone removed them and had the fault code removal done?
I have a 2000 996 convertible. The canvas roof is in poor condition. Will a 997 convertible roof with the glass window fit? There always seem to be several for sale. I'm not sure if any 996s came with glass windows as standard. A glass window would be so nice.

Just out of interest - were you able to take the parts back? This thread has been really interesting as I learnt to look for that AT on the engine number.
Hi All My exhaust is not long for this world, I'd like to get a stainless system that will last. I'm not really looking for a 'Sports' anything but any increase in BHP is a bonus, it's more about the longevity and knowing it's all good back there. I'm on a tight budget so if you have any recommendations (or an old one knocking about for a 996 3.4) I'd really appreciate the advice. Thanks Julian
