  1. Thanks for the response. As an update everything worked itself out. When I first pulled the hardtop I noticed the roof was perhaps stretching itself back out after being folded for a few weeks? After sitting in the sun with the roof up all day (plastic window isn't wrinkled anymore and the roof overall looks tight) I took the car out and now everything is working again.
  2. Hello, I recently had the issue of both windows staying down a few inches and refusing to close completely with the top up and latched. I diagnosed the issue to be the convertible top latch switch as I was able to get the windows to roll up by depressing the switch further than the latch hook was currently doing. So I replaced the switch with a new OEM unit along with the metal clips and the problem was resolved for a few days. After a few days I put on my hard top and drove the car around for a couple of weeks. After removing the hard top, the same issue has come back with the windows staying down a few inches unless I've depressed the switch further. For now I've put a piece of cardboard between the switch and hook to get the windows to roll back up. I'm fairly certain I've installed the new switch properly (flush with the holder and new metal clips pushed all the way down), but I'm going to take it apart and double check. Is there an adjustment for the hook to allow it to push further up? I'm thinking I could just glue a piece of felt onto the hook to fully depress the switch, but the original lasted 20 years so wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something with the repair. Thank you!
  3. Hello, I have a 1999 Boxster and lost the radio code: CR-220 X5013153 Thank you!
