  1. Loren, Many thanks and well done. After the holiday I went back to the shop and brought the security code you posted. It worked! I got a great Porsche CDR 220 off of Ebay for next to nothing because no one else had the patience to figure out the code. Thanks again. Brian
  2. Thanks Loren, Because, in any forum, it's generally proper protocol to read the FAQ's before posting, I did read the FAQ's first. As suggested in the FAQ, the CDR 220 was out of the car so I checked the stereo label for the number. Since none of the other posts with a serial number had the same format as the number I found I went ahead and posted my query to see if the serial number was somehow the correct one (my mechanic thought that was the serial number). Anyway, I got someone to bench the unit today and here are the results: CDR-220 Type 4462 Serial Number: Y5039852 24/99 Thanks so much for the help, Brian
  3. Hey Guys, I bought a CDR 220 on Ebay for my 1987 Porsche 928S4 and need an unlock code. The only serial number I can find is a number etched in mirror image. The number is 3300/1277073. Can anyone help? Many thanks, Brian
