  1. Should have just pressure tested first. Found broken clamp under alternator bracket stub hose from pump outlet to water jacket elbow. Like that the Porsche clamps don't eat into hose but it broke at the crimp, sure I over tightened it when I put it together last. But at least an easy problem. Water tank good idea, replaced it when I had motor out. But ya never know.
  2. Afternoon About 3 years ago when I bought the car I lost the cooling system under power entering a hwy. ended up ejecting one of the glued in water fittings. Dropped motor and removed, reglued, and pinned all the fittings. Fast fwd to last week, lost cooling system after slow acceleration after been stuck in slow traffic for an hour. Classic smoke out of engine hatch. Trailer home and got it in my shop this weekend , stripped top of motor and while I can see traces of coolant on left side top bank, none of the now pinned fittings are loose they are all tight. Any other common leaks I'm missing? Can't feel any hoses leaking, but can't run it with top of motor apart, ac and power steering, intake y, alternator all removed. Going to try and find something to pressurize cooling system with I guess, topped reservoir and it's not static leaking, but of course no pump pressure to circulate water back I to motor. Any ideas or thoughts appreciated. Havent dropped oil yet, but was hoping to see leak somewhere, anyone had the heater cooling lines let go? That's all else I can think of going over left bank. Thanks for any ideas
