  1. Hi, I am wondering if there is a list of TSBs available for the new Cayennes. A friend of mine is having issues with his '11 car; the remote would fail to unlock after being parked at a particular location for a while; the dealer knows nothing and claimed it is EM interference.
  2. Not yet, but I dont think my servotronic has any problem. Just an experiment. I quite like the heavier feel now, and there isn't any warning ! on my dashboard at all.
  3. I don't like the over-boosted steering feeling, just thought I'd give it a try. Do you know which fuse it is? I think there is a servotronic relay somewhere under the dash but I couldn't find it. Thanks. Just found it. It is under the dash, near the steering column, the relay number is 462. It firms up the low-speed steering quite a lot. I think the steering feel is much better now.

  5. There is quite an annoying delay with servotronic (speed-sensitive power steering). Basically the power boost always come slightly later than I expected. Is there any way to disable servotronic? I know on Audis you could just simply pull a fuse to disable servotronic modulation. Thanks.
  6. I accidentally broke the headlight mount in my '03 cayenne S while taking off the headlight for height adjustment. So I called my dealer trying to purchase the parts. They mentioned they've had the 3rd revision of the headlight mounts and I need to get tensioner for the new mounts too. I got quote of $35 bucks per tensioner and I'll need 4 of these. These are essentially screws with springs I think. On PET it says the Quantity is 8. Does this mean the part come with 8 of these in the bag? Thanks.
  7. I see. So the 000 044 500 21 would've been the latest revision of ROW M030 right? I'd imagine for 986, all the revisions should work for all model years... is there a different version of M030 for say MY00-02 v.s. MY02-04? ROW M030 is so much better compared to stock. I don't understand why people complain about the harsh ride.. it is still soft enough for highways, and body roll is significantly reduced.
  8. Thanks a lot, Loren. You rock.;) Has there been changed in the ROW M030 during the last couple years? And why is there different kits for tiptronics?
  9. I have recently got ROW M030 installed in my '02 986S by the dealer. Can someone confirm if the followings is the correct kit part number? It isn't clear from the PET. 000 044 500 21 Thanks.
  10. The bolts on my rear chair is somewhat loose now and it sometimes wobbles and makes annoying sound when I drive over cobblestone or uneven pavements. This is the bolt on the fold-down joint. My dealer did tighten the bolts for me a while ago but this has occured again. I don't want to make a trip to the dealer for such a minor issue. The bolts are hidden under leather trim. Can someone send out instructions on how to do this? Thanks.
  11. Please refer to my post in rennlist. http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/show...threadid=115196 Specifically, take out the trim around the radio and remove the two torx screws fastening the radio. That's it. No special tools required.
