  1. Check that the hexagon nut at the top of the strut assembly is tight while the car is on the ground. There should be no movement of the stop plate (inverted washer) when the nut is tightened down.
  2. Just finished reassembling rear suspension on 2001 Boxster. Now, how do you guys torque the axle nuts up to 325 ft-lbs? Special wrench?
  3. Do you have a source on Amazon from which to order these?
  4. While replacing my front and rear suspension components on my 2001 Boxster (Base), I encountered numerous rubber grommets that suspend electrical lines (brake wear sensors, ABS sensors, etc) from the main strut brace and the inner fender wells. These grommets had become very brittle and some were missing entirely. I have been unable to definitively identify the part number(s) in the Porsche parts manual and am looking for a solution. Many thanks in advance. CJ
  5. OK, thanks. BTW - the radio code you provided worked perfectly! Thanks, again.
  6. New to this forum and tried the link above (now broken). Is there an alternate?
  7. One more request: 2001 Boxster Base Becker CDR-220 Type 4462 Serial Number: Y5053289 Many thanks!
