  1. Thank you! This should help a lot. Hopefully I can get back to the project so I don't have to Dodge the raindrops much longer :-)
  2. Hello, My front wiper linkage arm broke and I'm struggling to get the new linkage installed properly. I believe it is just the orientation of the arms that drive the wiper arms. Has anyone done this or is there a good source of information of how to orient the linkage? Thank you. Jeff.
  3. I just completed a steering rack replacement. The boots will hold the fluid so you won't see a leak (until they go). If that's your issue it is not a terribly difficult job. I wonder if the wet sneaker sound is fluid sloshing in the boot.
  4. What did you ever find out about this car? Is it a "type 83" engine? Does the engine look like this, with the black stacks and rods? If so, you have a euro (ROW) carrera...very nice find and quite valuable.
  5. I just called Sunset Imports and the plugs are $13.17 each and the coils are $12.82 each for a total of $209. The dealer in Colorado Springs wanted $369.03 (of course that was "with tax").
  6. Getting at the fill plug is a real pain. I had to take a hex key out of it's socket ( or cut one if you don't have a hex socket set) and put a box end wrench around the hex to unscrew the plug.
  7. I have the prodigy controller in mine and it has worked fine. You just have to connect the brake sensor wire directly instead of going through the harness. I have heard that the Voyager works well too. FWIW, I do haul a 20' enclosed and really haven't had too much trouble. The 20' is as long as I wanted to go given the wheelbase but highly recommended over an open.
