Thanks Loren, I figured it was a test plug but i needed to hear it from someone so i can rest at nite.
On a MY07 Boxster relay 14 on relay support 2 is a test plug. -
Resently I removed the trunk covering over the relays and noticed that in space 14 in this diagram for the rear trunk relays http://www.theschillings.com/boxrelay.htm that the relay in space 14 is empty in my car, Is that normal and only used by techs?

What i did when placing my 986 emblem was that i used a tape measurer and meansured 33 inches across from the current location of the boxster emblem...basically left to right at the horizonal position of the emblem across the trunk., I placed the 8 from the 986 emblem at the 16.5 inches mark and the emblem about 3 inches from the top of the emblem to the bottom edge of the trunk lid.
