  1. Hi, I bought a 996 in 2020, replaced my battery and now need my code. Of course I cannot find the code written anywhere, and it looks like my display is starting to go! I'm posting what I think is the type and serial number with some photos in case anyone is smart enough to decode the failing display AND produce a code. Any help would be greatly appreciated! CDR-220 Becker 1 type 4462 serial 25014995 24/99
  2. I found this part here: Shift Adj. Bridge Genuine Porsche 00072196190 000-721-961-90 000 721 961 90 000.721.961.90 | Pelican Parts WWW.PELICANPARTS.COM Genuine Porsche Shift Adj. Bridge Call (888)280-7799. May Qualify For FREE SHIPPING. Parts# 000 721 961 90 000-721-961-90 000.721.961.90 00072196190. BUT it looks like the tool is discontinued. Does anyone have another source for it? It looks like the same tool for the 997 is still being offered. Can that tool be used? Looks to be a simple part - perhaps a 3D scan/printer may be useful here... Many thanks to anyone with current information.
