  1. Good morning all, I have searched all of our forms here and I can’t seem to find specifically what I’m looking for. So I figured that I would reach out here and see if anybody has encountered the same issue as me. We all know that our Cayenne steering wheel buttons haven’t Sensi to dry out and flake, and finding a airbag replacement where the switches are not destroyed is very difficult. I am just wondering if anybody knows of an OEM wheel from another year or another Porsche that will be a direct swap onto our Cayenne. I own a 2003 Cayanne Turbo, I’m not against getting another wheel, but I’m wondering if there is a swap that can be put in for a more attractive wheel. If not anybody know of any cost affective sellers selling the Havana air bag with switches that is not destroyed? Can’t thank you guys enough for all the help. Have a great day
  2. Actually Loren….I did. And I really do appreciate your reply. if I read it correctly, Your wonderful post breaks down codes and applications of specific radios as based on people if they lose the code. The question I was posing to people was do I have the ability to swap in a newer radio into my 2003. They have the identical part number the only difference is my radio part number ends with the letter A and the one that I am considering swapping in ends with the letter G. My part number is 7L5.035.191A, I have access to part number 7L5.035.191G. I understand your post as far as codes go. What I was actually asking was if I swap the newer radio in, am I going to have an issue? Is it something that needs to be VIN based? Or do I literally have the ability to just swap the radio in and plug it in and all is functional.
  3. Good morning all new member here, long time reader. I have a 2003 Porsche Cayenne Turbo with the original navigation unit in it. What I am wondering is my display on the radio is pretty poor. Lines through the display it just needs to be replaced. I have access to another radio just like mine from a 2004 Porsche Cayenne S. What I am wondering is is there an actual radio code that is needed? Or if I purchase this radio do I have the ability to literally just plug it into my cayenne and it will work? Thank you in advance for any replies. I do appreciate all of the help
