  1. Hi, I will be droping off my car for the 20,000 mile warranty next week. They told me that they will not change the oil unless I ask them. I can change the oil. Changing the oil is very easy. I read that changing the oil is mandatory. I just wanted to let everyone know. I will pay for them to change the transmission fluids. I do want it done right the first time. They said that changing the transmission filter is standard for them. Paul
  2. Hi, If you burn MP-3 files then use data mode of transfer. It sounds like you used audio mode of transfer and you did not finalize the CD. Paul
  3. Hi, Here is some pictures for installing a Sirus radio. This link may give you some better ideas. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...7&hl=sirius Paul
  4. Hi, I would get a powere bleeder for about $70. I would also think about racing fluid. I got a recomendation to use the blue racing fluid to prevent the boiling of the fluid. I tend to brake pretty had at the end of the straights. Paul
  5. HI, Use the search engine and you will find more information. Enclosed is a site that might help you. http://www.bumperplugs.com/DensionGroupBuy2.html Paul
  6. Hi, I would get the turbo if you are not going to track the car. I would buy the GT-3 if you are going to track the car. The track is a lot of fun and there are a lot of great people to meet if you track the car. Paul
  7. Hi, Here is a location on installing a radar detector. Maybe this will help with your fuse box question. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=6451 Paul
  8. Hi, There are some ball bearings in the clip and maybe they are dirty. You can get to the clip and lubricate it but, the work it takes maybe better spent just replacing the clip. Paul
  9. Hi, This is pretty good. I used a screwdriver to pop the old one off. Remove a plug in the wheel well and push a screwdriver in that is parallel to the ground. It should pop out easy then. Paul
  10. Hi Loran, I was looking for it in the forums. Thanks again, Paul
  11. Hi, I once saw the check list the dealer uses for the 20,000 warranty work. Could someone point out the location. I have tried a bunch of searches with no luck. Thanks, Paul
  12. Hi, I am just joking. Did you see a Ferrari sticker on it? Paul
  13. Hi, The cigarette lighter and the foot well socket are connected to the same fuse. Either one works the same. Paul
  14. Hi, I bought an all-weather for $130. Fits really good and should last for a while. www.autochic.com Paul
  15. Hi, The last screw I ran over went thru the sidewall. The tire had about 1,000 miles on it and I had to throw the tire away. I drive slower around work because I think I picked up the screw there. Paul
  16. Hi, I use Michelin Pilot and my rear tires eat screws like crazy. The car runs fine with one new tire in the rear. Paul
  17. Hi, There is a certain way where the radio will seek out the closest stations. Its in the manual like Loren said. Paul
  18. Hi, Can someone tell me where the emergency brake pads are located? My best guess would be in the transmission. Thank you. Paul emergency_brakes.doc
  19. Hi, Ther is some article some where on removing the speaker box. You start by pulling out the two plastic air scoops near the outside panels. A small screwdriver will help pop them out. Then you will use a torx wrench to remove the bolts that hold the speaker box. Remove the box and underneath the carpet you will see the computer for the car. Paul
  20. Hi, I would lube the hinge with some light machine oil. Here is a picture of the 996 spoiler. Paul
  21. Hi, I put Pagrid Blue racing pads on the front and the dust was reduced about half. They were easy to do and I did it myself. The pads felt better at the track compared to stock pads. I will put blue pads on the back wheels soon. Paul
