  1. Thanks Loren. I've contacted them. I read that Porsche doesn't sell the bushings, only the entire plate. I'm not a "purist" and do not plan to ever sell the car as 💯Porsche original ...so some of the creative fixes I read about to stiffen or replace the bushings sound more cost effective than replacing the entire plate...but I imagine mechanics run into warranty issues and may be reluctant to do that?
  2. Hi All, I'm new to the Forum, located in the South Bay/San Jose area and in need of a reputable mechanic. Unfortunately, DIY to save $$ is not an option, (after 8 spinal surgeries, I'm just thankful to be able to get in and out of the car to drive it again after years of registered Non-OP). Issues: (did not appear at same time...window issue started 2 yrs ago, horn issue is recent) 1)Front passenger window is stuck (after making griding sounds), so I think I need a new window regulator? 2)I removed B3 fuse to stop the horn from blowing sporadically, googled issue and found that to be temporary solution. Blows even when parked and engine is shut off. Rattle or vibration somewhere between the steering column and dash when parked and revving engine; ultra-sensitive horn area (look at it wrong and it goes off). No horn sucks since it disables locking system (and my ability to startle drivers parked at green lights because they can't put their phones down)! Thanks in advance for feedback on the 2 issues I'm having and/or recommendations. When I searched previous posts, Rennshop owned by Marvin Weitz was the only shop that I found, circa 2012.
