  1. I had to buy one of these last week after it was destroyed by some road debris, so I have it sitting right in front of me. The part number for the right side piece is 986 504 394 00 01C and the name is (confusingly) "Floor Cover Trim - Black". The rubber lip at the bottom of the stoneguard is included. It is attached to the body by only four screws, so replacement can't be that hard (haven't had time to do it yet). Don't know the part number for the left side piece - sorry.
  2. My "new to me" Boxster picked up a touch of mold in the AC evaporator in its prior life in a more humid climate. I'd like to get directly to the AC evaporator to clean it as opposed to just spraying a can of AC cleaner through the system. Does anyone know where the evaporator is actually located? Is it possible to get access to it?
  3. After being away from the joys of Boxster ownership for a couple of years, I took the plunge again last month with a slightly used 2003 "S" and experienced something I didn't recall from my last Boxster: condensation on the inside of the rear trunk lid over the coolant cap. "Faulty cap" immediately came to mind, was confirmed by dealer, cap replaced . . . but now I still have a persistent thin film of moisture (as opposed to droplets) in the same spot. The car is not overheating and the coolant level is mid-point between min and max. Is this normal? Does the cap vent vapor to accomodate expansion of the coolant?
