  1. I have a 2004 Turbo Cabriolet. It has the Factory PCM 2.0. Pushing Main and Trip shows the following: Software Versions 3.0 ...PCM 3.0 ... Systems Software 6634 ... Device Type XXXXXXXX Serial Number (Note it displays the actual serial number 8 digits) You have a PCM 2.0. The update CD disc set last updated in Nov 2008 is Porsche part number 000.044.901.21 You can but this for $299.00 at Sunset Porsche in Oregon (they ship) Disclaimer - There "may be" a 2009 version coming out since this version was created for 2008 and there are only 2 months left this year. Best, Al
  2. I took my TT Cab into the dealer for the second time yesterday for an engine miss. I had brought it in at about 1700 miles but the tech said the diagnostic did not show anything and he could not reproduce it. Well now at 3000 miles, the miss is still there even though the diags still report nothing. However this time a different tech could reproduce the miss on a test drive. It happens between 4000 and 6000 rpm under gradual acceleration (not WOT). It will exhibit this miss while accelerating at almost any speed in 4th from ~40mph or even in 6th from ~70 mph. They think it could be plugs which requires quite a bit of time to replace them all. Anyway, I will drop the car back at the dealer on Wed so they can keep the car overnight to diagnose/debug. Any one experience this miss where the diagnostics show nothing.? Al H.
