  1. well you can always get it, but i feel that i dont need it. i was just concerned where or how high it should be..
  2. so i installed litronics and the car is lowered now. i followed the instructions on where and how high the beam cutoff should be, but will i have to adjust anything else height wise because the car sits considerably lower now? any help is appreciated DJ
  3. i dont like how you can see where all the pieces are glued on...
  4. double the speed limit and see if you get caught hehe but yeah, you will loose some sensitivity.
  5. i drove my box last winter on worn out summer tires. it is doable, but not suggested. drove it in negative temperature as well..
  6. post some pics man, cmon, you know better than this :) glad it all fit good
  7. hey man, that looks great. the car is really coming along great DJ
  8. why would you want to get more expencive oil, not sure if it works, and could damage things? mobile 1 is good as is.
  9. no rub whatsoever. thats why i was asking about the numbers, as they said that this was the best they can get it to factory, and since its lowered the camber cant be adjusted any more out because tires would hit the fenders. so i suppose, some fender rolling would accommodate some more slack, but not sure
  10. comments on paperwork: aligned best as possible. had suspension. was altered. hmmm and heres the lowered car, on Gemballa springs
  11. on the front calipers, the top bolt broke right where the tool goes to open it up. from the start it was realllly hard to turn. bottom one is very easy to unscrew once loose. same thing on the other side, passinger side front, but i didnt even want to try and get it out, so left it alone. my Q is, is there a reason why the 2 top ones are sooo hard to get out, to the point where the bolt head breaks? i got new ones, but cant get this one out. (same color as my car strangly enough hehe) ill go and get it extracted tomorrow morning, but just weird. any ideas?
  12. can you post a pic of your drop with Gemballa springs? i will be installing a set this upcoming Sunday and would like to see the drop. thx
  13. yeah, there are little things here and there, and some even claim power gain but you actually loose some, but really best upgrade is a bigger engine, its hard to squeeze some power out of these cars without major $
  14. you dont need anything for the front, but if you prefer them to stick out more then you can put some. they look fine on my car. and for the rears, it was just a slight rubbing on the shock, so i chose the smallest spacer available that i could find and put them on, and its fine now. should be lowering the car this weekend with soe Gemballa springs, as well as ROW rear sway bar, and i already installed a rear brace that is in a discussion now, that earnie bar. :) Just in time for winter :) :) :D
  15. dont really know, its my dads friends shop, so he took them in the morning, and dropped them off at my house in the afternoon. so literly free. btw, where can you get longer ones for that price? why didnt you go 275? why only 265? i plan on going with 285 next time around :)
  16. i put this as well. had a bar in garage from other projects, so free mod. you really can feel the difference in turns, street driving, haven't tried the track yet.
  17. no, machine shop. here they are before painting them black, so u can see how 'thick' the spacer is
  18. they are shaved off to the same thickness as the spacers, so its up to factory specs on turns and lenth.
  19. used stock ones, just machined off the spacers on them.
  20. nice, got the same ones. just paint those centercaps couse that chrome stuff looks nasty they are actually 8.5 and 10, but if measured end to end they sure are that wide :)
  21. 275/40/18...posted in 1st post. now i just gotta put the springs on
  22. anyways, stacked up some heavy stuff in the rear trunk to see when its lower if it will hit anything. luckily, everything is fine. here are some pic i took w cellphone
