  1. There are 3 grades available, 97 and 102 unleaded? i guess it wouldn't hurt anything to try (except my wallet). My car is my everyday driver. Wouldn't disconnecting the battery mess up my radio? Thanks for your replies
  2. I'm running in a DE this weekend. There is fuel available at the track up to 110 octane. I usually run premium in my 05 987S 93 octane. Will a higher octane help my performance? I read earlier posts that say the engine will automatically adjust to the fuel. Is there a maximum level the car can use effectively?
  3. I'm going to a DE event next week. An instructor will ride with me on the track. This seems the best way to go. I'm also fortunate enough to live at the home of the Porsche Driving School here in Birmingham AL. There is more info on the school in the Porsche web site. I think a 2 day session runsd around $3000. Check pca.org to find DE events in your area. Good Luck!
  4. I guess I'm in trouble. I have an 05 Boxster S with a 12/04 build date. I use a qt. every 2500 miles, I bought the car in last fall with 8 K miles and I'm up to 17K now. I mentioned the usage to my dealer and the nicely topped off my oil and sent me on my way. I don't see any leakage, what are my options?
