  1. I just wanted to make everyone aware of a new website for Cayman enthusiasts called Cayman Club. The site is located at http://www.caymanclub.net The club is designed to give Cayman enthusiasts a place to find/share and communicate all things Cayman as well as for vendors to offer items for the Cayman to the Club. If you are interested in the Cayman, please stop by.
  2. Here is an alternative install that does NOT remove the snorkel, but does remove the restrictor plate and does show the gap between the plate and the mounting bracket for those interested in the clearance. Photos are at http://www.kcrpca.org/boxster.asp Enjoy!
  3. You might like this link :) http://www.workshopmanuals.co.uk/workshop_...hop_manuals.htm I was told about it over at ppbb Chris. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Only problem is that those are for 986's not the 987, in this situation the center console is different, oh well maybe I'll get a chance to look at it next weekend.
  4. I spoke with H&R on Friday about 987 lowering springs since their website lists them but the part # is the same as the 2004 986. Turns out it was a mistake on the web, BUT the springs for the 987 are in development and should arrive in around 12 weeks so there is some hope for the future. He also said that the anti-sway bar upgrades should arrive any time as those are done. Coil-overs are also in the works but he estimated 6 months or so out still.
  5. Does anyone have pictures and/or instructions for the removal of the 987 center console? I would also like to ask where I can buy a 987 shop manual (that would like the procedure for this console removal among other things) and how much the manual costs. Thanks in Advance!
  6. I think some of the early production Boxsters were made in German (early 987's) but recently nearly 100% have been coming from Finland. What was the build date on the car in the photo?
  7. I spoke with EVO and they have dropped production on the 987 cold air intake which seems odd because if the Cayman has the same airbox they are just screwing themselves by not going ahead and doing it for the Boxster too. The 986 EVO cold air intake WILL NOT WORK for the 987.
  8. Yes if you have a soft copy I can pass on to the owner that would be great. He has an aftermarket K&N intake and filter and thought it was related to that.
  9. We have a member who took his Boxster in and had the fault codes read and it came back 1128 AND 1130. In combo is that the classic MAF fault sign? This is on a 2.7L Boxster (2000). TIA!
  10. Loren, When you say that all 02-03 TT's and C4S's come with either US Sport or ROW Sport, can you tell us the differences between the two? I know the US C4S is already 10mm lower than the C2, how much lower (if any) is the ROW 030 vs. the US 030? What other characteristics are different? It also looks like the 03 C4S got a different rear shock than the 02 C4S, any idea why?
