  1. jnx, please check your PM.
  2. Hi Loren and all: Long time no talk. My P hobby was in hibernation mode for a while. I recently upgrade the seats of my 996 Cab. When we took the driver seat out, we found that the wires had been tinkered with by the previous owner. Several wires where snipped and then put back together. My friend figured most of it out and swapped the seats succesfully. Here is the question... The seat belt light on both sides are now not working. It's kind of nice not having the ding ding anymore. But my concern is whether it would affect airbag operation. For example, does the seat belt lights not coming on mean that the air bag controller might think that there are no one sitting there and therefore the air bag might not deploy? or something stupid like that? BTW, the air bag light itself is fine (not on). Any idea? Thanks in advance. Paul
  3. Loren: Both you and Scree mentioned that CA did the ROW030 install for $800. Well, they just quoted me $1,000. They said $800 is for installation only and does not include alignment. Just wondering if your $800 install included the alignment? For $1,000, that's quite a bit more then say what RennWerks would charge. I was quoted $670 for complete install at RennWerks, and they offer 10% discount for PCA members. Just wondering why such a big delta? (between the $800 and $1,000, and between CA and RW)... Thanks. Paul
  4. Thanks again, Loren. Would you mind listing the 02 and 03 TT also? That would make the list complete and will serve as good references.
  5. Thanks! I like your title "Porsche Nut". Quite appropriate! ;) Is there any change for the TT between 01 and 02? I assume they need the same parts?
  6. Okay, here is what I need: 02-03 C4S - 6 spd 01 TT - 6 spd Thanks in advance.
  7. the following models. Thanks in advance. - 996tt - c4s - 02 996 c2 cab (if it is different than c2 coupe) Thanks in advance.
  8. How about a low tech method? Why can't you just buy a spare buckle and plug it into the receiver?
  9. This is very cool for the community! Now, since I am not very technical myself (TP did all my hacks)... I'll have to pretend to be technical in order to post here... I know all my electronic gadgets though... radar, scanner, frs... just ask the officier who wrote me the ticket. BTW, TP, I still have your book. The other one sold for $49! May be we can meet up sometime.
