  1. HEY DEPUTYDOG95. I have some spare cats from my 05 997s - if you need any. they are in very good shape and do not rattle.
  2. I have an 08TT now and I can barely get my hand between wings for washing - but I can do it.
  3. Just make sure it is the water pump. I had a clanking noise - consistent, but getting louder as the I drive the car over about a 2 week period. I took it into the dealer and they diagnosed it as a converter problem. I happened to have another pair of stock ones at home and swaped them. Sure enough it was a convertor. I cut the bad one apart and the "honeycone" inside was free and moving around..
  4. My car is a MY05 997C2S TIP and it handled the TPC SC kit well. I already had the center radiator, so I did not need that. Car was a daily driver and is a rocket - over 500hp and 400+ TQ at crank. TIP was ok, but first 2 gears are useless - car is soooo fast. However, I'm looking to trade up to a 997TT and had to de-mod my car. TPC SC kit is for sale - $7,000. Professional installation is recommended - around $3k + any parts needed.
  5. The only way to that much HP and with more torque is supercharging. Either VF or TPC.
  6. RON'S TIRE & WHEEL 12830 SHERMAN WAY NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA 91605-5033 (818) 764-1560
  7. I have the n1 bridgestones on the rear now - seem fine. Car is DD, but I still feel the PS/2s were better.
  8. Get the MY06 PCM manual - available from your dealer or on eBay. It will show you how to use the new functionality. There is an easy way to turn off the icons - go into MAP mode, hit the "SET" button and make sure POI is unchecked by pressing the right side round rotary knob.
  9. An oil change - fresh oil, will do that. My oil pressure reads higher after oil chnages also, then will go down some as the oil breaks down.
  10. Yikes, was it in one of the canyon tunnels? I'm glad you are OK, but am always sad to see a P-car damaged. They are works of art.
  11. Just picked up a new 08 C4S Cab. No Plate. Car is stored on a lift. Love to look at the engine. Skid plates are usually and aftermarket addition.
  12. Don't do it. If you want to alter performance, go with GIAC or some other well know ECU programming company..
  13. Gads! Look at all that trash!! And then the garbage on the floor, too!! That's no way to treat a Porsche! LOL trash.. I agree - keep it clean and shiny. No fast food garbage left on the floors, where is the respect..
