  1. Looking at these latest pictures I noticed that my door doesn't have that glass finish? Is this soemthing that can be buffed out or Clay Bared? Is this normal for a new car?
  2. On my 996 the cord connected to the gas cap is long enough for it to hang without touching the car, thus preventing any scratches. On the Cayenne the cord isn't long enough and if you let it hang you can end up scratching the side of the car. What do you guys/gals do with the gas cap when you fill up? Thanks
  3. Just had the Xpel Clear bra put on the Cayenne... Before: After: More Install Pictures It's all in the install. If you're in the Bay area I recommend... C S Specialties Mobile Service San Jose, CA 95148 408-476-3332 cleartecdesigns@yahoo.com www.clearprotectionproducts.com They have done all of my cars and at least 7 of my friends. We are all very happy with their work.
  4. Changed to the Clear Side Markers.... BEFORE: AFTER: Changed to a Silver Crest BEFORE: AFTER: Also did the Flashing Side Marker Mod. For those of you that don't know what this Mod is...The Mod will make your Side markers flash with your turn signals. I believe this is standard on all European cars. INSTRUCTIONS There is a warning, be sure to read before doing...
  5. Ok, so I heard there is a way to install a Silver Hoodcrest w/o removing the bumper. Does anyone know how?
  6. You can tap into the PSM or any other switch that Lights up. I believe that all switches light up the same.
  7. Yes, they light up. Just run the the wires from the outside slots to the same outside slots on the window switches. That's how I get mine to light up with the rest of the switches. But the wires have to match on both switches. Left plug on the window switch to the left plug on the Targa Switch.
  8. Yes, but i'll probably going to be expensive. There are places you can buy from, but they slip my mind at the moment. I'm sure someone will name those places.
  9. What kind of deal do you think I can get on a Cayenne S in the Bay Area? MSRP? Below?
  10. It's in the car's manual...do you have that? Hey you're in Plesanton? I'm just over the hill in Castro Valley!
  11. Will the dealer let you upgrade to sports seats for a fee? I wonder how much?
  12. Jeff, if you want more people you might want to crosspost on 6speed, funcars and rennlist. I know I've gotten a few PM's on these work on car days, but I forget who these people are to contact them individually.
  13. Here's a moded Boxster I saw at an Auto-X event...
  14. I had mine done in Fremont at the Automall Tint Factory. 510.659.8468 I had 50% installed on all five windows. They did a good job on my windows. Make sure where ever you get it done that they tint all the way to the edge of the window and then file it off rather that stop the tint before the edge. Trust me, it will look more factory that way.
  15. Why would they make a change so fast to the Cayenne? Especially when they are selling so well...
