  1. Thanks Loren. Do you think it would be prudent to do both rear wheel bearings even though it seems only the driver's side is whinning? Also wouldn't a bad bearing get louder over time? This intermittent problem has not gotten worse in months. Perplexed?
  2. 2000, 2.7, US, Tip. There is an intermittent whinning coming for the left rear. Sounds like a bearing whine. This only happens when the car is moving and above 20mph. Less than 20mph and the whine stops abruptly. This has been going on for several months and is not getting louder and only happens some of the time. Does not happen at idle when I revv the engine. Does not appear to be brake related. Any advice?
