    Weird. He made me the sub box last year and was very easy to get a hold of. It did take a while for him to finish it up but it came out perfect. I never had any issues. Sorry that he fell off. His product was sweet!

    Plugs, tubes, water pump, underdrive pulley, low temp thermostat, all new tensioners and rollers, oil pump..... Im sure I can think of more.. I have a 3.4 in my box too :)

    I had this sort of happen to me on my 2.5 motor in my boxster. I was just driving along and all of a sudden went to the rpm limiter. The **** center spline just let go of the rest of the disc and was just spinning in the middle. I thought my tranny let go. I have a cayman clutch now from the dealer with my 3.4 swap and have had no issues. The clutch that let go was installed by the dealer. Go figure. I am a DIY'R from here out. Good to know. Thanks for checking on the numbers.

    I got mine from LA Porsche. Came in four days from them to Long Island NY. 6400 shipped and it had 30k on it and that was verified by the dealer and insurance. It is in my car running strong. No issues at all and was packaged/palleted great. Shipping company called me to tell me when they were coming and took it off the truck for me. I put it on a dolley and BAM it is in my car :) Hope this helps.

    I need a MAF housing for a 3.4 996. I did a the swap into my boxster and need the houseing to put my maf into so the thing runs perfect. Anyone shoot me an email if you have one djmanjay@yahoo.com thanks in advance.

    I am going to be pulling my tranny out this week and I have a cayman tranny that I can pick up. Does anyone know if this will bolt up to the axles and the mounts. I know the bell housing will work. I do not care about the gear ratios or any of that. Just if anyone knows if the cases are the same. Thanks in advance. J

    SOB I just looked at the throttle body that they sent me...... Grrrr... They "LA Porsche" sent me a 986 TB it says it on the side. I am going to email them right now. I don't think that they did it on purpose. hopefully they will just send me a 3.4 non egas tb with no issues. I'm glad I caught this thread. Jay

    Todd, I just measured the throttle body that I received with my swap and it is the same on the outside and then tapers down at the butterfly to around 2 inches I would say. I measured quick after reading this post. Does this mean that LA Porsche sent me a boxster throttle body? Sorry to hijack the thread. Jay
