    I just switched out my regular(full power) seats for some like new Sport Seats. I really love these seats! When installing the seats, I noticed the driver seat only had 1 electrical connection for the large multiplug. My full power seat had 2 additional smaller plugs that I assumed were for the full power adjustments. Once I connected everything up, the power seat back tilt only works on the passenger seat. Is there another electrical plug I missed on the driver seat? Thanks for the info from anyone who has gone through this installation.

    I just acquired a used Porsche "Taco" shaped spoiler. I believe it is the GT-3 style spoiler. It will need to be re-painted to my color. It will go on my 99 Carrera. The seller stated that it attaches to the stock rear engine cover. Does any one have any install suggestion? Loren - I know you have this style. Did you install yours? Thanks for any help!

    I just acquired some like new litronics headlights for my 99 C2. I thought everything was just a plug and play install untill I ran into a problem. Seems that once the litronics were installed, the left headlight small bulb stays on, along with the left side marker light. If I turn the light switch in the car 1 click to the right, the right headlight small bulb cmes on and the left headlight goes out. When I turn the light switch in the car all the way to the right, all the headlight and fog lights come on as they should. When I turn the light switch to off (all the way to the left), the right headlight small bulb and right side marker light comes on again. Auhhhhh! What is going on? I assumed that the existing wiring would work fine with the new litronics. I realize that all the functions of the litronics will not work without the retrofit wiring harness and control unit. Please help!!

    I just obtained a set of white gauge faces off of Ebay. They are made as replacement faces for my stock black faces on my 99 996. I am not sure if I can just overlay my existing faces or if I should remove the black ones and replace with the white faces. Any suggestions? Procedure? Cannot find the name of any manufacturer on them.

    You will find during your search(as many of us have), that a turbo wing and deck lid will NOT fit a narrow body 996. The deck lid is too wide. It will only fit a C4S and the Turbo - sorry!

    Ever hear of this problem? After using my wipers in the rain, I tried turning them off. They stopped for a few seconds and started back on. When I try to switch from delayed wiper to fast speed - no difference in speed. Turned on the car the next day and they seem to be OK. Can't figure out what was the problem and why I could not turn them off. I have a 1999 C2 996. Any suggestions?

    I recently got a 1999 Porsche 996. This may sound dumb, but when I try to work the tilt steering, it does not tilt. All I am doing is moving the tilt steering lever under the steering column from the 3:00 to 6:00 position - but the wheel won't budge! Is it that I do not have the tilt steering option, just the lever? Help me out guys.

    Don- The white smudge is near the passenger air bag and side vent. Not sure what it is, but I cannot remove it. Thought I might be able to just blacken it to match the dash. Thanks, Gregg

    Hi- I am a new member here and need some advice on a couple of topics. I just got a 1999 996 Artic Silver Carrera that I just love so far. 1. There is a whitish smudge on the dash near the passenger air-bag. I have tried cleaning, ArmourAll, Lexal, etc. with no success of removing it. Any suggestions on possibly wiping something over it possibly to match the black dash color? 2. My car has the old style headlights with the yellow lens at the bottom. The small triangluar shaped lens on the driver side has a leaky seal and gets water trapped inside. I was hoping to replace the triangle lens on both sides with clear lens. Also is the larger yellow lens replaceable with a clear lens? Just don't have the funds to replace them with Litronics. Thanks for any suggestions!
