    I did an X73 (all wheel drive) on my car a couple of years ago and have some pix if they might help you. Dealing with the front drive is tricky but you will not have that to work around.     Thank you Loren. For a first timer the only thing I would add to the pix are that the carpet panel removes much like a mat that is tucked down along the corners. It is not held by anything like a screw or clip - just get ahold of it and pull it out. Then the BOSE brackets must be removed and the strut just unbolts like normal. Thanks again, eric

    Dealer told me it was normal but still seems like a ritch condition to me. However, I do notice that they are all like that..... must be normal. eric

    OK that worked great! There is one #30 Torx below each speaker that releases the panel. BUT now I cannot get the carpet panel off that covers the struts. It is the one behind the Bose panel. How does that one come out?? eric

    I am doing rear suspension.... how do I get the carpet panel off?? I have the Bose in my back panel. I am pulling my hair out! eric

    Just curious to why you want to change them out? What benefit would it be? Is there a performance factor involved? What about the warranty issues? :o Just did the ones in the GT3 last week replaced with WEVO mounts. Don't need any special tools, just a wratchet and some sockets and a floor jack. I just placed the floor jack under the engine and took the weight off the mounts. Then just unbolted and replaced the mounts one side at a time. On my car the driver side was very easy but the passenger side was a bit of a challange because of things being in the way of the lower nut. but with some patience I was able to make the change. Yours might go differently as your motor is different but the proccess is still the same. It took me about 1 hr to complete the job Thank you Ray, that is just what I wanted to hear. I am doing the front X-73 right now and then the back and then the mounts. I will save them for dessert on the job :)

    I hear it is a simple thing to update the motormounts in a 2004 C4S but would like to review the process before I start in about 10 hours. I have the Rennsport mounts to put in. I have a full shop, air tools and a lift if necessary but I think a floor jack should be plenty. Thanks in advance, eric

    Wow, just had my 60K and that seemed like more than I saw in that 90K check. Now I am not so worried about driving more, thanks for the list. eric
