  1. Hi Jef, I have a 2000 C2 and I get the same kind of noise. But it doesn't occur until I exceed +100 mph. It sounds like a buzzer or a card stuck in the radiator fans. How did you discover it was vent in the gas door? Where is exactly are you talking about in the gas compartment? Have you fixed it? Please let me know so I can check it out on my car too. Thanks, Han
  2. I had a similar problem with my 2000 996 C2. It turned out to be the positive wire inside the socket itself was not making a solid connection. Had to dig out the epoxy and resolder the wire to the socket connector. Found it with a voltage tester and test the wires from the socket back to the harness. Hopefully its not a broken wire beyond the wiring harness. Good luck.
  3. I got this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-986...sspagenameZWDVW
  4. Daryl, I had to break into two uploads. Here is the first one.
  5. Daryl, I am currently having my leather dash board, instrument pod, and airbag recovered. I got this from a Boxster owner to help the upholstery remove the component
