  1. I have a 2009 Cayenne S. I asked them to check the engine light during during my 100,000 mile service and they said that the temperature sesor for the coolant needs to be replace and it will cost around $800. Has anyone done this themselves? How hard is it? Has anyone had this done to their SUV? What was the cost?
  2. I had the OEM short shifter in my 2006 Boxter S, and I really liked it. Didn't have the notchy feel you decribed. Just picked up a 2008 911S and I'm thinking about putting in a short shifter. Would be intereste in what you do and experience.
  3. I'll take a look and see if I see anything disconnected. Otherwise, I'll check price of job and determine if I want to do myself or not. Thanks.
  4. 2006 Boxster S- 45K miles. Was driving the car 3 days ago and 5 minutes into driving noticed the "Oil Level Indicator Failure" message on the dash. Pulled over but realized the car was running fine and that this message means there is a problem with the sensor not the oil level nor oil pressure. (Car rarely uses any oil and the level was good the day before). Few questions. Has anyone had this issue before? How did you resolve it? Could this be as easy as a blown fuse (I hope)? Has anyone replaced the sensor? What was the cost? Can this be done by home mechanic (me), or is this a shop job? Thanks for any help
