Thanks Richard, I will have another look this weekend, guessing the plug at the steering side is the one that plugs into the rear left of the stalk module. Cheers
Has anyone ever found out where wire physically goes? Stalk plugs into electronic unit so you cant fix a wire to pin 5, Ive got stalk fitted but stumped re wiring it up. Any help appreciated
corriepups replied to corriepups's topic in 9PA, 9PA1 (Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Turbo S)No, I found a brand new valve body for a Toureg at a good price and thinking it was identical ( vw and porsche part nos are the same!) bought and fitted it. Started to get error code re clutch slippage. On speaking to Nino discovered that separator plates in valve bodies are different. He converted vw valve body to Cayenne spec by fitting new plate. Working perfectly with no more harsh changes.
Hi, Anyone in UK with gearbox problems, I can recommend Nino at Beds Automatic Transmissions Ltd. Tel 01582 560224 e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org His knowledge of the Aisin/warner box seems second to none and thanks to him I have fixed my harsh downshift at fraction of dealer cost.
Hi, Does anyone know if its possible to reset the adaptation values of the Tiptronic control unit without PIWIS. I am changing gearbox valve body next week and wonder if I can avoid a visit to local Porsche Centre to have this done? Thanks
Thanks for that guys, My car is 04 Cayenne S, 60k miles, I can fairly easily move shaft about 1/4inch up and down so guess bearing is knackered!
Does anyone know how much lateral movement is normal when pushing/pulling propshaft at centre bearing? Getting dug dug dug sometimes at low speed and suspect bearing on way out
Attached instructions may help. replace_electrohydraulic_control_unit.pdf
Hope it's not the gasket, engine out job to remove heads.
If you mean PSM combination sensor its below centre console (near cup holders)
Hi, Can anyone tell me where to find ignition switched live feed in dash area of 03 CS. (fitting parrot ck3100) many thanks
