    Will the Becker Monza MP3 simply replace the CDR-22 (pre MOST) without any wiring changes ? If you have the matching Becker 7860 CD Stacker unit - will that also play MP3's ? ThunderC4S

    After having my 2002 C4S in the shop for RMS leaks for 3 times in approx 6 months - I am getting a new engine... I am taking the oppurtunity to upgrade the engine to an X51 powerkit version.. Can anyone confirm if there is any other "external" parts required other than the engine itself ? Is there an additional centre radiator that needs to be installed on a C4S ? Thunder

    I just got the car back..Apparently they replaced the intermediate shaft seal - the RMS was OK.. Keep in mind both seals were replaced one month ago.. This time around they did not want to give me a printed service sheet detailing the description of the work and the parts replaced..

    Isn't replacing the RMS just a "band aid" measure anyway ? Would it be fair to say that the issue is not the RMS itself but the engine case ?

    I had a RMS leak (drops of oil) on my 2002 C4S about a month ago. The dealer replaced both the RMS and the intermediate seals and supposedly performed the test with the seating tool. The car is back at the dealer again with the same problem. I wonder if they are going to try to fix it again or if it needs a new engine ? If it needs a new engine would it be worhwhile upgrading to an X51 engine instead ? It should cost less on labour since the engine has to come out anyway.
