    I just installed Litronic headlights..no problems with the HL but.... Now when I turn on my headlight and use highbeams the left rear turn signal doesnt work. It works on low beam and when the lights are off. Changed the bulb....Thoughts?

    Is it possible to install 997 seats in a 996? I have powered backs, manual sliders and height. The 997 seats are the same. Can I just remove the airbag sensors from the tracks and bolt them in ... or is there more to it? Thanks

    I have read most of the alarm threads but I still dont get it. I hooked the Durametric tool to my 2000 996 C2 and found 4 incidents of code 33 and 3 of code 34. I have replaced the interior sensor and I still get random alarm set offs. I do the double click and get a long flash and a single beep then the diode flashes double. A single lock gives me 1 beep and quick light flash and the diode double flashes. DO I need to look for other problems? I do have other codes 60/1time, 58/1time. Thanks

    I have called several parts departments for the rear spoiler light harness. The one to use when putting a stationary spoiler on. I have been told there are 2 part numbers. 996 612 070 51 and 996 612 070 04 can anyone tell me the difference and which to use? The 04 harness seems to be cheaper. Thanks as always

    Does this "jumper" mod work for a 2000 996? Also, what do you mean by "jumping" the pins. Do I run a wire from the 2 pins? Thanks in advance.

    I checked with the dealer and they said it was supposed to be green for 2000 and to actually add distilled water to top up if necessary. I also did the coolant check with the floating bulb thing and the coolant was fine. Thanks

    I only thought I needed one because the color wasnt pink and so I thought maybe the coolant was contaminated. The car cools great. I was just worried becasue of a lack of service history. Thanks

    I have a 2000 996 with an unclear service history. The coolant has a greenish color to it but the car does not overheat (even in Las Vegas in summer). The highest it gets is the center of the 0 in the 180 mark. I needed to add a little coollant mix the other day and used Porsche coolant (50/50). But I noticed that the Porsche coolant is pink and the coolant in my car is greenish. Is that a problem? How much labor should I pay to have a dealer do the flush. Do they need a PST2? I have read the DIY but I am concerned with how much waste it produces and what I can do with it. (As well as how to catch it).

    I installed a SSK and it works great except the shifter is leaned over to the left a too far. Anyone have this come up and able to fix/adjust? Thanks

    I bought some leather repair from a vendor that is in England. In the British 911 mags. It was great resolved almost all of my cracking problems. I see on ebay what looks like the same product. Hope that helps.

    Anyone have any experience with this air filter. It is foam instead of paper or cloth.

    I was having a problem with my lights behaving weirdly and found the problem to be the body side connector wasnt fully connecting. Everything looked fine on both sides but the H/L wasnt fully seating because the clip that holds the body connector was cracked. Once that was solved everything went back to working again.

    I use whatever is cheapest....no problems...I used to do the 4 gal of 100, 12 of 91 but it didnt seem to make a difference.

    You might also want to be sure that you have cleaned the TB of gunk in the inlet area. If the butterfly stays a little to open a eratic idel can happen. I cleaned mine and it smoothed right out. PS: my seat rattle so much I want to carry a dummy there to quiet it down. Good Luck.

    Can anyone give me a best estimate of the hours for a shop to instal a RoW M030 kit? I was quoted 12 hours plus alignment. I read the DIY and would like to know if the spring/shock come assembled in the kit. The picture makes it appear it does. Thanks

    I have a 2000 C2 and would like to add a spoiler lip like p/n 99650598692 for the Mk2 GT3s. Is there anything like that available? Thanks

    I measured my rotors on a 2000 Carerra with 33,000 miles and found 22.5 rear and 26.5 front. If I am doing pads etc. should I do rotors at this point or do I have wear left. I relly dont want to do it twice. Thanks

    Is the M030 suspension worth the money? It appears to be about the same price as the PSS9. Are the swaybars a good addition. How much will M030 lower the car? I really appreciate the feedback (this is a 1st time post) Thanks
